Stomping Grounds are a catering company based in Sandbach who work with local producers, small holdings and artisans in order to source their ingredients and produce. This allows them to offer great tasting, ethical and unique food.
Stomping Grounds are known for their distinctive Turkish Style Street Food, which they sell from their converted food van (an ex Royal Mail LDV called Percy!) across the UK.
Over the years, chef, Ryan has become increasingly disillusioned with how few menus make the most of local seasonal produce and still do not offer meat that has been produced under conditions of high welfare and to high quality standards. He wanted to feel proud of not only the food he served, but the ingredients he worked with so he could offer his customers food that is not only delicious and unique, but made utilising seasonal produce that is either grown or bred with pride and care.
All their meat, fruit and veg is bought from small local businesses in Cheshire who buy directly from our local farmers. They then then pick and choose between the amazing artisanal produce throughout Cheshire to enhance their dishes whether this be pickles, cheeses, honey or handcrafted beers.
So their tag ‘Community Driven Food’ is more than just a buzz word. They source their ingredients from small, local producers and independent artisans to offer truly unique options and to help promote local businesses.
