AnUka was founded by Cheshire born designer-maker Francesca Kippax in early 2012.
Francesca graduated from the prestigious School of Jewellery in Birmingham in 2010 where she completed her degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing.
I have always loved being creative. I think this comes from my mother who is a painter. As kids we were constantly drawing, painting and making things out of anything we could get our hands on. It felt like a natural progression for me to extend my skills and challenge myself in a new craft. I love being able to come out of the workshop at the end of a day knowing that I have made a piece of jewellery that someone one day will take great pleasure in wearing.
For the last 2 years Francesca has been living in the small fishing village of Mui Ne, South Vietnam taking inspiration from her surroundings and developing original handcrafted designs.
Simplicity is key to Francesca’s jewellery, allowing for strong, bold forms and smooth finishes; producing an elegant and striking range of handcrafted jewellery, perfect for every occasion.
